New Procurve credentials HP0-207

New Procurve credentials HP0-207

The new “ProCurve Adaptive Edge Fundamentals” training has been updated & expanded to cover all ProCurve products including Ethernet switches, wireless access points, the Secure Access 700wl series, and the Secure Router 7000dl Series. Associated to this new release, a new exam code HP0-207 is now available to get the new version of the certification, called AIS – ProCurve Networking [2006].

If you already hold one of the following credentials: AIS – ProCurve Networking [2004], ASE – ProCurve Networking [2005], Master ASE – ProCurve Secure Mobility [2004], please be aware that these credentials are moving to a “Transitional” status. This will not affect your personal status in the program and it is not mandatory that you upgrade to one of the new specialty credentials. However, it is definitely to your benefit to do so, and the process is simple.

Current AIS – ProCurve Networking [2004] can upgrade to the new AIS – ProCurve Networking [2006] by passing the updated exam HP0-207.

Current ASE – ProCurve Networking [2005] certified professionals can upgrade to the new ASE – ProCurve Networking & Mobility [2006] credential simply by passing the “Configuring the 8100fl Interconnect Fabric Switch” exam (HP2-013). This upgrade path requires minimal time to prepare (1 day training, optional) and convenient web-based testing. Additional specialties can be obtained by passing the Convergence or Secure WAN exams

Current Master ASE – ProCurve Secure Mobility [2004] certified professionals can upgrade to the new Master ASE – ProCurve Secure Mobility [2006] credential simply by passing the “Configuring the 8100fl Interconnect Fabric Switch” exam (HP2-013). This upgrade path requires minimal time to prepare (1 day training, optional) and convenient web-based testing.
